What they wanted
As a notable presence in the European childcare sector, a strategic expansion into Germany was undertaken through the acquisition of an assemblage comprising 35 nurseries.
Following an initial holding period, it became apparent that a comprehensive reassessment of fundamental processes was essential for enhancing operational efficiency, thereby positioning the business as a robust platform for subsequent organic and inorganic growth initiatives.
What we did
Commencing our initiative with Human Resources as a primary domain and cost centre, our initial undertaking involved a meticulous examination, mapping, and evaluation of all sub-processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
Subsequently, we elucidated the current information technology landscape, meticulously mapping data and process flows to discern areas ripe for enhancement.
What was achieved
We identified 10 principal IT workstreams and 25 organisational workstreams to be executed, ensuring the robust establishment of all critical business processes. A substantial number of these workstreams required a comprehensive transformation, leading to the identification and recruitment of key personnel. We successfully onboarded initial key leadership positions and seamlessly transitioned responsibilities to the appointed individuals.
